Glenelen Park Maverick
2004 Grey Anglo Arabian Gelding Height -15.3hh Sire – Mathoura Perphection Dam – Aloha Martika Maverick is a big strong boy and has an exceptionally kind and gentle temperament. He was broken in as a 3yo, and has spent a few weeks working on a large feedlot. Although still very green due to lack of time to give him work, he is coming along nicely, with smooth flowing paces and a lovely soft feel .

Glenelen Park Kobe
1996 Bay Partbred Arabian Gelding Height -15.2hh Sire – Haboob Dam – Kareena (QH) Kobe was the first foal I bred of my own, and due to the excessive every day handling he received as a foal, he turned out to be an extremely quiet and placid horse. I broke him in as a 2y-o and he spent the next 6yrs of his life relaxing in the paddock with the occasional ride. He is the kind of horse you know you can put anyone on regardless of their riding ability. In 2004 keen to learn more about training I pulled him out of the paddock and attended a 3 day Steve Brady clinic, which certainly was my turning point in really understanding about training horses. In 2007 his life of leisure was put on hold when I started work of a large feedlot (35000 head of cattle), and after attending his 2nd clinic he started ‘work’ on a 10 day shift, with 5-6hours straight every morning. He wasn’t very impressed with the new arrangement, however it certainly gave us the time to intensely practice all we had learned at the clinics (which was the best part of the job). After finishing work there in early 2008, Kobe returned to his relaxing life in the paddock. After having many months off without a single ride, Kobe attended his 3rd clinic in Feb 09, 4th in July 09 and 5th in Feb 10 . Not having forgotten a thing, he is now progressing beautifully towards more advanced work such as flying changes and roll backs, although we both still have a lot of learning to do. As Steve Brady likes to say “there is big difference between a quiet horse and a well trained horse”. Which I now completely understand.

Glenelen Park Bilinga
1988 Grey Partbred Arabian Gelding Height -14.2hh Sire – Haboob Dam – Glenelen Charmaine Bill is one of the last foals from Mums very special mare Charmaine. He also has lived a fairly relaxing lifestyle with some PC, showing and jumping in his earlier days and only an occasional ride in his later years, so it was a real shock to him when Mum took him in a 40km ER ride at Elphinstone Vic in 1999. He is now enjoying his retirement with only one or two rides a year (whenever Mum gets the urge or the time).
Sadly, Bill came to the end of his time in Feb 2010 He will be fondly missed

Glenelen Park Remarkable
2006 Grey Anglo Arabian Gelding Height -mature approx 15.3hh Sire – Mathoura Perphection Dam – Aloha Martika Remi is one of my very special boys, he has the most beautiful Arabian face it’s hard to believe he is an Anglo. He started his saddle education over summer, with all the ground work leading up to being ridden established. At this stage he is just not mature enough mentally or physically for ridden work to be of any benefit to him, so he will recommence his training as a 4y-o.
